One of the
main reasons we attend the Corporate Training SIG is that we almost always
learn about a tool or technique that other trainers share that make the them
more efficient and effective. It
may be a software, a website, a game or an electronic gismo that makes you go
“Wow!, where did you get that?” Or
“Cool, I could do that.”
This is a show and tell session where we invite all attendees to bring
their favorite cheap tricks and cool tips. Don’t assume everyone already knows about it. The simpler, and cheaper, the
better. We’ll all share our
secrets. Bring a handout, a flash
drive or the website and we can connect to the Internet.
About the Presenter:
Patsy is the Manager of
Training and Development, Americas Region, for the Cabot Corporation, located
in Alpharetta. Prior to joining
Cabot she was the Director of Learning and Development at Equifax and was a
Performance Consultant for SunTrust Banks. In the late 1990's she owned Idealink, a training and
development firm specializing in communication skills and association
management.
She is a past President of ASTD Atlanta and has served as a Senior
Advisor for the chapter.
